About Us | Our B&B in Ambleside
The Old Vicarage is no ordinary Ambleside B&B or Ambleside Hotel. We are family run and take great pride in the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere we create at our Ambleside Bed and Breakfast. Ian and Helen Burt own and manage the B&B, with the support of Liana, their daughter . Liana and her husband have two young boys and you may even see the family dog ‘Jake’ around the B&B.
Ian and Helen Burt bought the Old Vicarage and set up this quality Ambleside bed and breakfast business in 1989, having run their own hotel businesses since 1977. Before that they were involved in hotel management and consultancy in the Lake District and Wales.
